February Favorites

This month was a tough month to choose just a few product faves.  These products pulled overtime to impress me so I figured instead of just doing February Faves on just a couple of products, I'd do it on ALL of my Favorites.

  1. Butter London Nail Polishes: $14 Ulta - What can I say?  These just have the best formula ever.  The color selection is fun and chic and not overly trendy.
  2. Sigma F-84 Angled Top Synthetic Kabuki: $16 Sigma - You already know that Sigma brushes are my favorite so I had to include the brush I got in February.  I absolutely love how this brush applies liquid foundation and I think it's great for cream blush as well.
  3. Essie Protein Base Coat: $8 Ulta - I really like Essie polishes so I thought I'd try the Protein Base Coat.  The ONLY reason I didn't get the one from Butter is because the Butter one was $20 and I couldn't justify the price.  For $8 this base coat does the job and I'm very happy with the results.  While I think I'm still going to have my acrylics put back on, I will probably continue to use this on my toes to keep them strong.
  4. Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette: $50 Sephora, Ulta - As a die hard fan of the original installment from Urban Decay, I knew I'd love the sequel.  They are my go to palettes and I interchange them both because while they are neutral palettes they are very different.  The original consists of warm neutrals and this one is cool neutrals.  Depending on what I'm wearing (and my mood), I go with the palette that works best.
  5. L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream: $10 - $28 Sephora - This is the best hand cream for dry winter worn hands and I've tried many.  It IS pricey but I've bought less expensive brands and wasn't near as impressed.  My hands were soft, NOT greasy and the cracks and flakes were eliminated quickly.
  6. Urban Decay Lip Junkie: $19 Ulta, Sephora - I originally got the Lip Junkie lip gloss in Naked with my Naked 2 palette and I loved it so much I went and got Red Light for a more glamorous look.  The texture of these glosses is EXACTLY what I've been looking for.  I'll let the Sephora description explain:
You want a super-shiny gloss, but can't stand the sticky texture? Get your shine fix with Lip Junkie. The soft, cushiony texture goes on smoothly and stays put longer than other glosses. You also get a great color pay-out (sometimes hard to find in a gloss) and a range of amazing shades, including sheer, pretty neutrals, knockout brights, and a glimmering nearly black. The range of textures and shades will hook even the most jaded junkie. The key ingredient, Maxi-Lip™, plumps lips an average of 40% when used daily for a month. (Lip Junkie uses non-irritant plumpers, unlike other glosses that use stinging ingredients to inflame your lips.) The Maxi-Lip actually helps your lips become better defined, super-hydrated, and full. And the flavor?  Think yummy wedding mints… a sweet vanilla mint with a little zing that makes breath feel fresh. Addicted, yet?
