My two year old daughter LOVES makeup and sometimes when I'm getting ready, she BEGS me to put "makedup" on her. Occasionally, I'll give in and put a little light pink eyeshadow on her lids, some pale pink blush on her cheeks, and some gloss on her lips. This got me thinking, are these products safe for her? I'm not talking about painting my daughter's face with makeup to go out in public; I'm talking about dress up makeup or lip balms for when her perfect little lips are chapped. I know that MOST of the products I use are not tested on animals but what about chemicals, dyes, "junk" that can irritate her delicate skin? So, I'm on the hunt for some safe, organic, kid friendly "cosmetics" for when my little one wants to play dress up.
