For my March wish list, I chose a few things that inspired me to start thinking about Summer. In the summertime, I like to reduce the number of products I use because I think that natural, soft, glowy makeup is much easier and since summers are usually so busy, I wanted to get a couple thinks that would expedite my morning routine.
St. Tropez Tanning Essentials One Night Only Instant Glow Body Lotion: $18 Sephora.com
I like this because it only lasts one night. Sometimes, I just want a bit of glow for a dinner, or a party. Most of the time, I don't want a full on fake tan. This is perfect for that special occasion and it claims it won't transfer. Definitely worth a try!
NARS Wicked Attraction Set: $49 Sephora.com
I picked this because it's basically, quick face in a box. All you need to run out the door to do some grocery shopping or maybe hand with the girls by the pool. (Yes, I wear makeup by the pool because I NEVER go IN the pool).
This is a Limited Edition set from Sephora and it includes:
- Single Eyeshadow in Fathom (pink tulle with silver shimmer)
- Blush/Bronzer Duo in Orgasm/ Laguna (peachy pink with golden shimmer / sheer light brown shimmer)
- Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base
- Larger Than Life Lip Gloss in Spring Break (pale golden beige sheen)
Illamasqua Cream Blusher in Laid (Bright Rose Pink): $28 Sephora.com
No specific reason for trying this other than I've heard rave reviews about Illamasqua Cream Blushes and wanted to try it for myself. I picked this color because I thought it was bright, fun and perfect for summer.
Butter London 3 Free Nail Laquer in Slapper: $14 butterlondon.com
This is such a fun, tealy blue color that I think is great for summer because it represents the ocean to me. I love to wear aqua colored nail polish when I'm hanging by the pool or going to the beach. I think it would be GORGEOUS with white jeans and gold sandals! I don't have to say again that Butter London is my favorite nail polish...but I will. Nothing compares for me at this point. This shade is already in my shopping cart!
Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara: $26
The Lancome website says this is a Limited Edition "Instant Full Body Mascara" which makes me a little hesitant to buy it because what if I love it? It's Limited Edition, then what? I expect that I'll try it anyway and if I fall in love with it, I'll immediately order a whole case a la "Doomsday Preppers".
As always, if any of you have tried any of these products, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
